Dance of Joy - Improvisation with scarves!

End of show curtain-call - that's the theatre word for 'bow'

A parent's comment about the show: "It was enjoyable & had a good ‘feel’ to it, which I think reflected your stated aim of encouraging the children to dance with technical skill but with a sense of joy & perspective.  I know my children both enjoyed it & It was great as a parent to see them growing in poise & in confidence, & without the sexualisation tendencies that I’ve seen in other dance schools."

Tendus are more difficult than they look.

"Port-de-bras" - the carriage of the arms - must be executed with grace and fluidity.

Dancing with scarves is a fun special treat at the end of class.

First position of the feet will be different for each child, depending upon how open their hips are naturally.
